Unbeatable Bergmen Bags Four in a Row

Dubai, UAE, 6 December 2020:  Superstock champion Ahmed Al Muyini (#47) and Ducati Pro-Twins title holder Saska Totaro (#5) have yet to discover how to shut down super Swede Christoffer Bergman (#71), as the Orlen & Ohlins Yamaha R6 bike had another perfect outing on Friday (4 December) at Dubai Autodrome to make it four decisive victories in a row in the Waleed Alshemais National Sportsbike Championship.

Bergmen continues to ride at an entirely different level than the rest of the two-wheeled pack, running over two seconds per lap quicker in qualifying on the 5.39-kilometre Grand Prix Circuit than Al Muyini and almost four seconds better than Totaro’s best lap.

After such a dominant qualifying session, it was no surprise when Bergmen bolted away from the field in opening laps of Race One and never looked back, taking the chequered flag 14.643 seconds ahead of Al Muyini (AHM Racing).

The Swedish rider found even more speed for Race Two, coasting home a full 29.290 seconds in front of the Ducati 848 EVO of Totaro (Power Horse, Milwaukie & Cruciata).

Nasir Syed (#44) of Creative House Scaffolding was also enjoying great success running his Ducati 899 for two class victories.
